Site Update
We’re happy to announce the launch of our updated site.
Selectel.com has been fully redesigned and restructured. We’ll talk about all of the changes in more detail below.
Shopping Cart
To make ordering services even easier, we’ve added a shopping cart function.
Like any major online store, services can now be added directly to your shopping cart. There, you can view the total cost, including for the whole year, change quantities, and delete services before checking out.
Orders can also be downloaded as a PDF or printed. This feature was added specially for clients who need management to sign off on purchases and for accounting purposes.
From the shopping cart, you place your order by clicking Submit order or continue shopping by clicking Return to services.
Services can be viewed from the home page by clicking Order under the service description.
Navigation
Different services and pages can be accessed from the updated navigation menu at the top of the page.
The navigation menu has four tabs:
Services — a list of services, special offers, and discounts
Solutions — ready-made solutions for corporate clients
Company — information about Selectel, contacts, descriptions of our data centers, and a copy of our contracts and document templates
Resources — links to our blog, client success stories, and knowledge base (coming soon)
Let’s take a closer look at each of these tabs.
Services
The Services tab has been updated to contain pages grouped by service category and special offers.
Under this tab you’ll find the follow section:
- Special Offers with deals and discounts on Selectel services
- Cloud Platform with cloud services for providing uninterrupted access to your applications
- Dedicated Servers for renting servers, including custom and fixed configurations
- Colocation with services for hosting servers and equipment in our data centers with a guaranteed Internet connection, UPS, and climate control
- Additional Services with services for building a custom, durable infrastructure
Solutions
The Solutions tab contains information for corporate clients by industry. We currently have four categories:
- Games
- eCommerce
- Financial Sector
- Developers
From here, clients can find the optimal infrastructure solution for their project’s needs.
For more information on possible solutions, you can request a telephone consultation by clicking Submit request. Our sales managers will contact you about creating a solution based on your requirements.
About
Under About you will find information about Selectel, including our banking details, licenses, vacancies, and contact information.
You can also request a tour of our data center by clicking Schedule a tour on the Data Centers page.
Resources
We’ve added the Resources tab, where you can find reference materials, such as our blog, client success stories, and knowledge base (coming soon).
All reference materials for using our control panel have been brought together in our Knowledge base, which you will be able to read about in a future article.
Under Success Stories, our clients shed some light on how Selectel has been an asset to their work.
Our site also has an adaptive design so that users can more easily browse and order services from mobile devices. The site automatically adjusts to best fit your screen size.
The four navigation tabs are present on our mobile site and all of the basic features are still available, include the shopping cart.
